Creating Uncrackable Passwords, part 2
Submitted by admin on Wed, 09/24/2008 - 17:08Currently users are forced to remember hundreds of passwords to websites and various other authentication systems which require passwords. Due to the wide variety of systems many end users to manage the large numbers of passwords which is complicated to keep straight when you are using a strong password which expires on a rotating schedule. In the original article it was suggested to create an uncrackable password was to put characters from all 5 of these rows in your passwords to increase the time it takes to get cracked and when possible use ALT-Chars which makes passwords uncrackable.
How to make a free HDTV antenna
Congress has set a final deadline for the HDTV transition of February 17, 2009. Most television stations will continue broadcasting both analog and digital programming until February 17, 2009, when all analog broadcasting will stop. Most people don’t use over the air broadcasting anymore since the picture and signal quality usually sucked. The mandate from congress to upgrade to HD has changed all that with most local television stations now broadcasting in High Definition. New televisions come with a built in HDTV tuner if yours doesn’t you can request a free $40 coupon to receive a converter box here https://www.dtv2009.gov/.
The only other thing you need is a good DIY HDTV antenna which you can build for next to nothing with the following instructions:
THE SOLAR DEATH RAY
The Solar Death Ray idea has been around since about 213 BC when Archimedes purportedly destroyed the Roman fleet at the siege of Syracuse by setting them on fire with his invention of the burning mirrors.

Unrestricted Internet Access at Work or School
Submitted by admin on Thu, 09/11/2008 - 06:09I have been asked a few times what is so great about SSH or what can it do for me. The easiest answer I could come up with to tell non techies, was you can surf pr0n at work and you might not get fired. Although I wouldn't recommend doing this, using SSH to circumvent a corporate firewall can be useful at times if you need to get to that one blocked website for whatever reason. Configuring an SSH server for this purpose is not that hard if you have an old pc, high speed Internet connection, and know how to install Linux.
